Alan Worsley has been involved in sourcing and supplying equipment to the broadcast industry, for at least 25 years. During this time, I’ve had the pleasure of working for companies that include Avvid, Spescom, Panasonic, AV Specialist, and now, Visual Impact. During my time as Senior Product Manager at Panasonic, I saw them through the transition from S-VHS, through the launch of DVCPRO, and the latest Varicam products. I’ve spent many years sourcing quality products from around the world, promoting them on the local market, and establishing strong relationships with both suppliers and clients. I joined Visual Impact SA in August 2006, and to me, this company can offer what few others can: A range of high quality products, tried and tested by ourselves under typical operating conditions, backed by experienced and well trained technicians. When we advise a client on any product, they can rest assured that we know what we are talking about.
Juanne Whyte, the Sales Manager in Cape Town, has been with Visual Impact since 2002.
During the time he has been with Visual Impact he has worked in various departments in the company, allowing him to have acquired a wide range of knowledge and skills. Juanne started in the industry as a Freelance Lighting Technician, he then got employed by Visual impact as a Rental technical Assistant and was soon promoted to a Rental Co-coordinator.
In 2007, Juanne headed up the Sales Department in Cape Town, where a dynamic team now works together towards servicing their wide diversity of clientele in the film & broadcast industry. His experience in Professional Broadcast Sales together with his industry experience & The support of Visual Impact Rentals, puts him at the forefront of broadcast sales.
Ashleigh Martyn has been working for Visual Impact since 2008 after she graduated from UCT in both BA Film & Media and Bcom Marketing Management. She started off in VI Marketing and Advertising, and is now based in the VI Sales. Ashleigh concentrates on Consumable sales and Apple Sales and assists Juanne with broadcast sales. Together she and Juanne make a dynamic sales force in the broadcast industry.
Andiswa Siwela has been working for Visual Impact since February 2006, and has
worked in almost every department within the company, from reception to
building manager, to sales. She is currently the senior sales administrator
in Visual Impact Sales, and assists Ashleigh with consumables sales
Nurahn Shabudien started working for the MediaHive in November 2009 overseeing
building management, reception and the MediaHive Sound Stage Studio. Soon
she moved into Visual Impact Sales as a junior sales administrator, and she
still oversees the Studio. As the link between the MediaHive and Visual
Impact Sales, Nurahn is able to understand the broadcast needs and demands
of our studio clients.
