What is retrofitting?

Swapping a whole halogen or discharge installation for new LED fixtures is expensive, and many housings have no direct LED replacement. Coemar’s retrofit kits keep the fixture and replace the lamp.

The kits are meant to turn those older fixtures into sources you can run over DMX. External electronics drive the LED, so the module can work hard without overheating the housing. Sockets, LED units and wattage are matched to the fixture’s cooling and size.

Plug and play

Socket choices and a matched LED group. Fixed white at 3,200 K and 5,600 K, in CRI 90 and 97. VariWhite, with CRI above 95, is available on the ReLite Kit. Installation is straightforward and routine maintenance drops.

Mini ReLite Led

A compact LED lamp for retrofitting 300, 500 and 650 W incandescent studio and theatre fixtures. It is offered in tungsten and daylight white.

ReLite Led Kit DIM

A retrofit kit for older halogen fixtures. The electronics sit in an external box, so the housing runs cooler and the output is higher than the standard ReLite. It can be run from existing dimmers, an onboard knob, or DMX.

ReLite Led HD

A higher-output retrofit for 1 K and 2 K incandescent fixtures. An internal sensor holds the light level steady as the housing warms, and the fan can be set to low or automatic.

How the kits work

The ReLite series runs from lamp-style retrofits to full kits. The shared gains are simpler installation, lower energy use and less maintenance, with more flexible control than the original lamp.

On the kits, the electronics sit in an external box. That keeps heat out of the fixture, so the light level stays steadier as the housing warms. A fixed-white fixture can also become a variable-white source.
